March 29, 2009 Splish Splash

Well the weather is still just not quite where I would like it to be before I adventure out onto the rivers and lakes around here, so we decided to do the next best thing and take part in another and I assume last pool paddle at the YWCA. We arrived at 10AM and unloaded one of out boats. Once everyone was inside we went about paddling, rolling our boats over and practicing self rescues and more. The water was wonderful. There were a few new people again and they seemed to enjoy their first opportunity to experience a kayak. For two hours we just enjoyed being able to dream about the warm days on the water ahead.
